eCommerce Media Executive

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an eCommerce Media Executive to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum, based at their prestigious facility in Kingston upon Thames. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week working from the office (Tuesday & Thursday- flexibility required) and the rest of the week remotely. This is a full-time temporary role to start ASAP for 6 months with a possibility to extend working a 36.25-hour week and is paying up to £44,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

With the continuously evolving retail media landscape, we are working more closely now than ever with our internal stakeholders and third-party retailer agencies to deliver high performing media which reacts to our local market trends and the continuously evolving digital space.



In this role, you will be a crucial part of the Retail Media team responsible for our retailer on-site media workstream. You will contribute to the development of our media buying best-practices, processes, KPIs and be accountable for their implementation on the retailers you’re responsible for.



With a passion for Digital Marketing, this role is suited to a driven candidate with good analytical, creative and communication skills who can influence stakeholders and support the team in delivering against our KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Create eCommerce Always On plans, managing online trade media bookings
  • Budget management: forecasting, tracking and reporting on spend; manage rebate creation
  • Planning & reporting responsibility for Criteo, Citrus or similar tools
  • Create media briefs, collaborating with retailer agencies to agree media plans
  • Management of bookings, in-flight optimisation, reporting and test & learn framework
  • Manage relationships with third party retailer media agencies such as Dunnhumby and Nectar360, and our internal Mindshare agency
  • Track and monitor live onsite media, collaborating with our agencies to evaluate, review and implement learnings to future campaigns
  • Create artwork briefs for content banners and execute approval process
  • Manage relations with CAMs and Channel Managers across all categories, meeting regularly to align on priorities & progress vs annual plan
  • Measure and report against performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals
  • Have an agile approach to campaigns based on local market trends
  • End to end process management from planning through to execution
  • Act as brand guardian ensuring that our brands are well represented online



About You

  • Highly organised with a strong interest in / experience in eCommerce
  • 3-5 years’ experience & knowledge of working with retailer (customer) portfolio and of the paid media space
  • Analytical thinker with an interest in data and a keen eye for detail
  • Proven project & budget management experience, comfortable managing large budgets
  • Confident in owning own workload and projects, taking ownership and accountability
  • Adaptable and responsive to change
  • Problem solver with a ‘Can do’ attitude and high bias for action
  • An interest and eye for creative design
  • Team player, able to form strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Passion for Digital Marketing
